How do I delete my account and all my data?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings inside the Mindleau app, then tap "Delete Account". This permanently removes all your journal entries, mood data, and personal information. Alternatively, email contactus@aishayy.com with the subject "Delete My Account" and we will process it within 2 business days.

Question 2

The app is crashing or not loading. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, go to your device Settings → Apps → Mindleau → Clear Cache, then reopen. If it still crashes, email us with your device model and operating system version.

Question 3

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Accepted Answer

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password". Enter your email address and you will receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you do not see it.

Question 4

My journal entries disappeared after reinstalling the app.

Accepted Answer

If you were logged into an account, your data is synced and will restore when you log back in. If you used the app without an account, data is stored locally and may not survive a reinstall. We recommend creating a free account to keep your data safe.

Question 5

Can I export my journal entries?

Accepted Answer

Data export is on our roadmap. In the meantime, you can copy entries manually from the reflection history screen. Email us if you need bulk export assistance.

Why does Mindleau need an account?

Accepted Answer

An account is completely optional. Without one, everything works locally on your device. Creating an account enables sync across devices and keeps your data safe if you change phones.

Question 7

Does Mindleau show ads?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Mindleau may show limited banner, interstitial, and app open ads to keep the app free. Ads are capped and should not interrupt writing, onboarding, or core reflection moments.

Can I remove the ads?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Remove Ads is an optional one-time purchase in Settings. It is not a subscription and does not unlock any features, since every feature is already free. On a new phone, tap Settings → Restore Purchases while signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.

Is my data shared with anyone?

Your journal entries, mood data, and reflection history are not shared with advertisers. We use Firebase for usage analytics and secure sync, and Google Mobile Ads for limited advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I use Mindleau on a tablet or iPad?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Mindleau is available on both iPhone/iPad (iOS 16+) and Android phones and tablets (Android 8+).
